Small tools you own.

One price, no subscription, runs on your machine.

Kitwright is being built in the open. The tools are not finished yet. The notes are, and they are free.

02What a kit is

A kit is not an app and not a service

It is a thing you assemble yourself, and it comes with the instructions. One job, done properly. One price, paid once. It downloads, it runs on your machine, and it keeps working whether or not Kitwright does.

Slot: a kit running on a real machine. Unretouched screenshot, at size.

03The Map · free template

The automations nobody wrote down

You have things running that touch your customers' data. A zap somebody set up last year. A script a contractor left behind. Three AI tools your team signed up for on their own cards. None of them is in a list anywhere.

The awkward part is not that it is untidy. It is that when a customer asks where their information goes, you are the one who has to answer, and the contract has your name on it. Not the tool's.

The Map is a one-page template for writing down what an automation touches, what it holds, what it sends outside, and how to stop it. It is free, it is yours, and it works whether or not you ever buy anything here.

before — undocumented

Same systems, written down: what each one touches, holds, sends out, and how to stop it.

04Kit

Kit makes the videos

Kit presents the videos and the notes. Kit is synthetic — generated on our own hardware, not a real person. We say so here, on the about page, and in the description of every video he appears in, because finding that out later would be worse than being told now.

Slot: a frame of Kit from a video, labelled synthetic.
